Welcome To Fairfield Presbyterian Church

In Christ, we are the workmanship of our Creator God. We are created anew in Christ to do good works in His Name!  Come and discover the life changing adventure of discipleship when you surrender all to Jesus.
Fairfield Presbyterian Church is committed to conservative principles as they are taught in God’s Holy Word the Bible.  We are a Presbyterian community of believers who love God, accept His Son Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and allow, as much as depends upon us, His Holy Spirit to lead, guide and grow us into Christ followers.  Come and join us and let us be Christ to you and share His love with you as we walk the Narrow Way with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Please check back often and we plan to share events throughout the years as we make plans to celebrate the wonderful event of serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for the past 175 years.
Season of Advent
Advent is a time of preparing our hears to greet the Christ Child.  We celebrate Advent as a way of remembering the birth of Christ.
The First Week of Advent focuses upon the Hope.  Our Hope is built upon nothing less that Jesus Christ and HIS righteousness.  Our hope as a church, is that everyone will come to Know God and to Worship God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Second Week we focus upon Love.  John tells us that “God so LOVED the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  Our prayer is that everyone that we meet, or whoever enters our church would not leave until they become a new creation through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
The Third Week, we focus upon Joy.  There is a joyous celebration at the birth of Christ.  Joy is an emotion that is much deeper that being merely happy.  Joy encompasses a deeper feeling within us that lets us know that God cares for us and helps us to remember that God sent Jesus so we would always know of God’s care.
Season of Advent
The Fourth Week, the focus is on Peace.  We do not live in a world of Peace, but in a world full of people who do not seem to care for one another.  But this week, we remember that Our God, the God of Heaven and Earth, our Father God, does promise peace. Jesus in John 14:27, stated, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
So we pray for His Peace, and hope that all people will seek God’s peace, too.
Finally, we will focus on Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day.
This focus is on Christ our Savior.
We celebrate this event on Christmas Eve.  We remember that our waiting for the Messiah, has ended in the Birth of Christ.
Our prayer is that everyone will recognize in Christ that He is our only Hope, because of the great Love extended to us through Him and that our Joy is increased because we know Him as Savior.  Peace will come only through Him and his reign here on Earth and until that day comes we will celebrate His coming through the celebration of the lighting of the Advent Candles.
Our hope is that you will be able to come and join us during this Christmas season.
